Patent translations are an important part of our business here at technical translations and on the 26th April the global body WIPO celebrates World Intellectual Property Day. The theme of World IP Day this year is "Designing the Future".
The point of the day is to raise awareness of Patents, trade marks and other forms of Intellectual Property, and to demonstrate how IP supports those involved in the creation of music, arts and entertainment, in addition to all the brands and technologies that we use every day.
WIPO hopes that this event will demonstrate to more business owners and managers the importance of protecting their own Intellectual Property and also respecting the Patents, trade marks and copyright belonging to others.
